This popular destination overlooks the beautiful Hallstatt Lake and is home to fascinating 250-year-old Salt Mines and close to the Ice Caves of Dachstein, where you will discover ice waterfalls, lakes and ponds streaming through the limestone. If you are feeling adventurous, enjoy a drive along the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, which takes you into the Hohe Tauern National Park and to the foot of Austria’s tallest mountain, the Grossglockner.
