A Taste of the High Life in the UAE

The United Arab Emirates is a group of seven emirates located at the entry to the Persian Gulf on the eastern side of the Arabian Peninsula. This is a fascinating Middle Eastern country to visit, and thanks to its oil wealth, visitors will find a very modern and advanced country that appeals to many western tourists. The UAE is one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations, as well as being a centre for business, with many international firms based in the region. From large elegant shopping centres, luxurious hotels, beautiful beaches and fine restaurants, there is plenty to keep a visitor entertained and driving one of our estate car rentals is the ideal way to get around. The seven emirates are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al Quwain, Ras al Khaimah and Fujairah; the most popular with tourists being Abu Dhabi, the capital and Dubai.

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is the common place of entry for visitors and is a hub for Emirates Airways, whilst flights from Etihad Airways arrive at Abu Dhabi Airport (AUH) and the low-cost Air Arabia operates from Sharjah International Airport (SHJ). It is possible to drive into the UAE from Saudi Arabia to the south and Oman to the East, though most visitors will collect their estate car rental on arrival at their chosen UAE Airport and begin their Middle Eastern adventure from the comfort of their rental vehicle. Driving in the UAE is fairly straightforward; road signs are in Arabic and English, the road system is modern and petrol is relatively cheap, but be aware that renting a car or driving in the UAE requires an international driver's license, easily obtainable in your home country. The UAE is a very dry country, and its all year round sunshine makes it a popular vacation destination for Europeans escaping the cold of winter. Visiting between October and mid-March you will find the temperature to average a warm 29°C during the daytime, but this is considerably more pleasant than the summer temperatures of up to 50°C.

United Arab EmiratesTake time to explore the highlights of the Arab Emirates, including the world’s largest sand dunes in the Liwa Oasis, hire a 4x4 to take a desert safari through the wadi’s of the northern region and visit the rock formations and archaeological sites of the Hajar Mountains. The beaches of the eastern coastline are wonderful and certainly one of the main attractions for many tourists, with long stretches of white sand and clear, warm waters, whilst the island of Sir Bani Yas, 9km from Jebel Dhanna, is considered to be one of the worlds best tourist resorts. Activities such as diving and snorkelling are hugely popular with visitors to the Emirates, as is skiing, which is possible at Ski Dubai, the world’s third largest indoor ski slope in the Dubai Emirates Mall. The UAE is also home to many major exhibitions and sporting events, with horse racing, tennis and Formula 1 attracting many visitors annually. Whatever brings you to the United Arab Emirates, enjoy as many of its attractions as possible when you hire one of our UAE estate cars.

Rent an Estate Car

An estate car or station wagon is an ideal rental car in United Arab Emirates when you need room for 5-7 passengers with place for luggage. Built on the sedan/saloon model, with the roof extended at the back for additional cargo space and often with an extra row of folding or removable seating, this is a great family car and perfect for road trips or travelling with children and dogs. Whether you are looking for an affordable family car or a luxurious executive model, there are a wide range of Station Wagons available to suit your needs.

Hire a Small Family Station Wagon

Estate cars don’t have to be huge, so if you are looking for a smaller estate, such as a manual five seater Ford Mondeo Station Wagon or the Volkswagen Passat Station Wagon, you will enjoy the benefits of a vehicle, larger than a hatchback, which will still fit easily into your garage. The manual Citroeon C5 Tourer comes with fitted with a sat nav and offers comfort with air conditioning and the latest safety features; an ideal rental car in United Arab Emirates for large families, sports equipment or those travelling with a lot of luggage.

Rent a Premium Estate Car in United Arab Emirates

For a larger more luxurious estate car to hire in United Arab Emirates, you could choose an Audi A4 station wagon diesel, popular for its handsome looks, powerful engine and athletic performance, whilst the automatic BMW 5 Series Estate is also a strong executive tourer with generous space for passengers and their luggage. The Mercedes E Class station wagon is a luxurious choice for a large estate with excellent suspension, refinement and a huge boot, as well as lots of leg and headroom and folding seats for additional storage space.

Hire a 7 seater Station Wagon

Sometimes you need the flexibility to choose between extra storage space and additional passenger seats. Estate cars often have a folding third row of seating for carrying an additional two passengers, so if you are looking for a large 5+2 estate rental in United Arab Emirates, you could choose a 7 seater Chrysler Voyager for safe and secure family vehicle or the smart Peugeot 307 Wagon (with Sat Nav), ideal for vacations with large families and friends.

Manual, Automatic and Diesel Estate Car Rental in United Arab Emirates

Some drivers prefer the ease of an automatic transmission estate car, whilst others feel more in control behind the wheel of a manual station wagon. Whatever your preference, we have the ideal car for you, including the manual transmission Skoda Octavia estate for a great family car hire and the executive Mercedes C Class Automatic Stationwagon with optional GPS.
