Madrid, the capital and largest city will excite all kinds of visitors. History enthusiasts should take a stroll through the Old City and enjoy the fine architecture of the Puerta Del Sol and the Plaza de la Villa, whilst Art lovers will be enthralled by the "Triangle of Art" that consists of The Prado, the Reina Sofia and Thyssen-bornemisza museums. Visit upmarket Marbella and you can even cross the border to Gibraltar, a very unique destination. Another option is to drive from Malaga to Granada to visit the Alhambra, the Alcazaba and the Gardens of the Generalife, before heading to Alicante on the Costa Blanca. Discover the region of Andalusia as you drive north from Malaga to Cordoba, Jerez and Ronda. Make sure you don’t miss the city of Seville, the stunning capital of Andalusia presenting a rich mixture of Arab, Jewish and Roman culture.

Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, located in the north-east of Spain, is another major tourist destination. This Catalan speaking city is a place of contrasts: a historic gothic centre with an exceptional architectural heritage (The Barri Gotic) next to the modern quarter of Eixample, as well as a very lively port-city with no less than 7 beaches and a vibrant night-life. You can rent a van in Barcelona and start exploring the nearby cultural city of Girona, visit the beautiful village of Cadaques or relax at one of the beach resorts along the Costa Brava.
