Experience the Sights and Sounds of Sweden

Travel the length and breadth of Sweden when you hire a premium car with Bingo Car Rental. The largest of the three Nordic countries, Sweden borders Finland and Norway, and is connected to Denmark via the Öresund Bridge. Sweden’s east coast lies on the Baltic Sea, and is home to Sweden’s stylish capital city, Stockholm. Located in the south-central region known as Svealand, Stockholm is certainly worth a visit, though for many the real charm of Sweden lies in its many areas of natural beauty, with vast areas of wilderness, snow-covered mountains, pine forests and wonderfully clear lakes. Enjoy the freedom to explore this beautiful country at your leisure from the comfort of your own vehicle.

Begin your travels in Stockholm on the east coast, collecting your premium car on arrival at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (ARN), located some 40km north of the city. Stockholm is one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, sitting on fourteen islands on Lake Mälaren, with a fine collection of museums and a vibrant cultural and nightlife. Gamla Stan is the historic old town, Norrmalm is the business area, known at the City, and Ostermalm is home to many of the cities tourist attractions, including the National City Park.

Over on the west coast is the port city of Gothenburg, Sweden’s second city and a friendly place with a vast canal network, grand architecture and elegant avenues and squares. You can fly directly to Gothenburg, landing at Landvetter Airport (GOT), just 25 km east of the city, or you could drive the 500 km from Stockholm, or even cross the border from Copenhagen in Denmark, just 317 km away or from Oslo in Norway, just 320km. Whilst you are in the Gothenburg region, make sure you take a ferry across to the beautiful islands that form the southern archipelago.

SwedenDrive south along the coastline, passing through some of Europe’s best beaches, to the cities of Malmo and Lund. Malmo has a wonderful medieval centre, as well as having a reputation for being a party town, whilst Lund is a grand old university city. You should also get out to visit some of the great lakes of this region, including Vanern and Vattern, or drive north to the central region to Lake Siljan, regarded as Sweden’s most beautiful lake. As you travel through the central region, you will come across plenty of traditional-looking towns and villages, and along the eastern Bothnian coast you will find the cities of Lulea, Umea and Sundsvall.

In the northern part of Sweden, inside the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland, you will find Sweden’s indigenous Sami population. Jokkmokk, a town located north of the Arctic Circle is the heart of Sami life and is a fascinating place to visit, or get out and about in your premium car rental into the beautiful wilderness, with endless pine forests, rivers and lakeside villages to be explored. Lapland is a popular winter destination for families visiting the home of Santa Claus, as well as with visitors in the summer wanting to experience the midnight sun. Kiruna and Gallivare are great bases for travelling in this region, or you could treat yourself to a stay in the famous Icehotel in Jukkasjarvi. Wherever you choose to stay, you are certain to enjoy a holiday of a lifetime in this amazing country.

Premium Car Rental

Premium cars are vehicles with cutting edge technology and ultimate comfort, yet smaller than executive cars. Known as Compact Executive Cars or Compact Premium Cars, they are ideal for drivers looking for an affordable luxury vehicle that is smaller, lighter to drive and more fuel-efficient than an Executive or Luxury Car. The body style is often a hatchback or compact wagon, though premium sedans are also increasing common. Drive a premium car in Sweden at a lower price when you book a rent a car with Bingo Car Rental.

Compact Premium Cars

A compact premium car is a luxurious supermini that is often popular with drivers looking for a reliable small car that is cheap to run but drives well and offers maximum comfort and style.
The Audi A3 is a fantastic premium compact and ideal for a luxurious small family car, as is the BMW 1 Series, a hatchback that offers a smooth and comfortable ride. Another option is the Hyundai i20 for an economical yet spacious vehicle that comes with a range of safety features and proves to be a good car to drive around town.

Larger Compact Executive Car Rental in Sweden

A premium car may also be a sedan or an estate model, providing affordable luxury for all passengers, allowing them to travel in safety and comfort. A premium sedan may be a good rental car for business travellers or for families with children, ideal for those looking for a comfortable car that is cheaper than an executive car. Rent a Hyundai Sonata diesel or the Mercedes C Class saloon, an automatic transmission car that has 5 doors and plenty of room for luggage. The Mercedes E class also sits under the premium car rental category and is a luxurious automatic car for 5 people with a large luggage capacity and comfort for all passengers.

Premium Compact SUV Hire

If you are looking for a larger vehicle or a 4x4, why not hire an affordable premium Compact SUV in Sweden. The Honda CR-V is roomy, comfortable, offers a solid performance and is equipped with plenty of technical features, whilst the Jeep Cherokee offers great off-road capability, is fitted with a powerful V6 engine and has a luxurious interior. The Hyundai Tucson is also an excellent premium compact SUV to rent in Sweden and is popular due to its firm handling and powerful engine, as well as its finely cut interior. Drive the best quality compact SUVs at affordable prices when you rent your premium car with Bingo Car Rental.

Automatic or Manual Premium Cars

Choosing between an automatic or manual transmission Premium Car is a personal choice, depending on whether you prefer the ease of an automatic or the sense of control that driving a manual gear car gives you. The fuel economy of a manual car is usually much better in stick shift-equipped cars, though driving one takes some getting used to compared to an automatic, particularly if you are unused to the particular model or brand of car. We have a full range of premium models available so that you can choose the ideal automatic premium or manual compact executive rental car in Sweden for you.
